There are times when the dispatcher or other ARCOS user needs to enter callout responses manually, in place of the employee using the VRU system to respond to a callout because employees may not always be reachable through their active devices. For example, an employee may be working at a job site and only reachable by radio. While the dispatcher may be able to talk to the employee and determine his response to the callout, the employee may not have the means by which to call into ARCOS to record that response. In this case, the dispatcher can enter the employee's response into ARCOS manually.
There are two types of manual response situations: one in which the dispatcher manually responds for an employee in the Manual Bypass Section table before the callout is initiated and one in which the dispatcher manually responds for the employee on the Manual Bypass screen after the callout has been initiated. This module covers both situations.
