AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile have announced that they will be eliminating 3G in 2022 on various dates. ARCOS has already received reports that older 3G phones are already experiencing the first stages of the 3G deprecation with calls and voicemails not being received because users are working off of the 3G networks.
As each carrier's 3G end of life date approaches, there may be issues with phones not working, users not getting voicemails and other major issues such as certain phones no longer working after their carrier's 3G end date.
Since this is a decision by the carriers and an effect of the decision on individual user's phone devices, ARCOS cannot correct it. We do highly recommend that your users check with their carrier's to see if their phone's will work after 3G is shut down, if they will experience any issues as the 3G shut down approaches, and if they need to obtain a new device.
Please keep in mind that your user's may not have a service plan directly with these three carriers but their carrier may use these carrier's towers which means this may subsequently also affect them.
