Using the Mobile Application

Login

Log into the app with your username and password.

Enable the Remember Me toggle for the system to present the last used Username and Company the next time the app is opened.

Biometric Login can be enabled by tapping the Configure button available at the bottom of the Job List screen.

If logging in for the first time, tap the First Time User link and fill in the required fields to register.

Job List

The app will open to the Job List page displaying those assigned to the user. Tap any listed job to open.

Tap the Logout button to exit the app.

The Assign button allows the user to self-assign jobs from within the mobile app.

Tap the Assign button to open the Assign Job modal. Users can self-assign themselves jobs by selecting the Assignment, Storm, and Feeder from the available menus and tap the Assign button. The job then appears within the Job List.

Tap the Reports button to display submitted reports.

Tapping the Reports button displays all submitted reports for the assigned field crew. A green indicator displays if the report has been successfully transmitted to the back office. If indicator is not green, a

Resend button is available if for any reason, such as being offline, and needs to be resubmitted.

The Configure setting allows the user to setup their navigation preference, explained here, as well as Enable Biometric Login.

Map View

Selecting a job from the job opens the Map View where the user will see all associated assets as well as a set of tools used for recording issues.

Toolbar

The Toolbar displays the various tools that are used within the map.

	Search -search for specific assets
	Jobs - return to the Job List
	Note - place a Field Note
	Info - view information for selected feature
	Follow - map will center at usersGPS location
	Navigate - will open a mapping service to provide directions and ETA
	Sat View - display satellite view of the map
	Hide the Toolbar

NOTE: Icons available within the Toolbar and their functionality will vary depending on Job Type. Details can be found in the specific workflow documentation.

Search

Search can be used to text search for locating assets.

Jobs Icon

Tapping the Jobs icon returns the user to the Job List window.

When returning to the Job List, the last opened job will appear in the list with a green halo.

The color bar next to the job name indicates the status of the map:

GREEN - Map tiles and Features loaded and enabled

YELLOW - Features only

RED - No Features

Any job can be opened and worked on while offline (without cellular data signal) once the job is green.

Note

Tap the Note icon to add any pertinent information, in the form of a note, on the map.

Include any necessary photos or comments then tap Send to save and add to the map.

Info

The Info icon, found in either the Toolbar or an asset modal when selected, allows the user to view information about the map asset.

Follow

Tapping the Follow icon will center the map at users GPS location and leave a visible breadcrumb trail while activated.

Navigate/Configure

When initially selected either from the toolbar menu or the Jobs List, tapping the Navigate icon will prompt a dialog allowing the user to select the web-based mapping service of your choice to provide directions and estimated time of arrival.

Users can only choose the navigation tool that is already have installed on your device. If you want to use Google Maps, you need to install it separately and it will then appear as a navigation option within MWB.
