Click the + New Resource Planner button to create a new plan. This opens the Create Resource Planner page creating a new Event Card allowing the user to allocate Resource Types to specified locations.
Here the user selects the information relevant to the associated Event including:
Event - Select the Event from the dropdown. An Event can only have one plan associated, once a plan is created the Event is no longer available and not listed in the menu. Events are created in the Events Tab, for more info, go here.
Crew Manager Perspective - Associate the Event with an existing Crew Manager Perspectives to allow the crews to then be managed within Crew Manager. This function is only available to licensed Crew Manager users.
Locations - Select the Locations affected and in need of resources. This section follows the ARCOS fourtiered hierarchy used to place employees in logical groups for roster assignment. Locations can be selected at any level. Lower level selections will automatically roll up and auto-select the parent location.
Resource Types - Select the Resource Types needed for the Event. For more information or how to add custom Resource Types, go here.
Click the Save button to create and start managing the Event.
