Some customers use location comments to describe cities and towns that fall into that location. Because users may forget, which towns are in a location ARCOS allows the ability to search for a string of text within the location comments.
For example, you may want to create a callout for Baldwin town but you cannot remember which location in ARCOS to use for Baldwin callouts. In this case, you can search across all location comments for the comment that contains Baldwin.
To Search for a Location Comment

Click the Location tab. The Location screen displays.

Click the Search button. The Location Search screen displays.

Type the search text in the Search Text field. This can be any string that is part of the comment you wish to find. For example, entering the string "est" would return such locations as Test, Westbrook, Manchester and Western.

Select the Search Name radio button.

Click the Submit button. The results of the search display. You can click any of the hypertext links and jump to that location or mouse over the location to see the full path.
Note: The full comment containing the search string will display. However, if a location contains multiple comments only the comment containing the searched string will be returned.
Note: The Location Comment Search feature does not search in the daily comments fields.
