Depending on how much your company uses Custom Messages, there may be a large list users have to sort through when selecting a custom message from the list. Most Custom Messages are useful only to some locations, and while all custom messages are visible to the user, filtering the list to show only Custom Messages approved for their location can be helpful. ARCOS provides a filter that enables a location to display only Custom Messages for the users current location.
To Enable the Filter

Click the Custom Msgs button on the Callout or SIREN tab. The Message Admin for the selected location displays.

Select the checkbox in the Only display messages for (your location) field, to see only custom messages selected to be available in your current location.
Note: The Use in <Level 4 Location> checkbox on the Message Detail screen must be checked in order for ARCOS to include the message in the list designated only for your location.

Select Custom Message from the dropdown menu. The Message Admin screen displays currently selected Custom Messages.
