The Activations feature works with the Callout Create page and also with the SIREN module. Not all companies use Activations, so you may not find an Activations button in your instance of the Callout or SIREN module in ARCOS. Activations allow all of the Callout parameters, the Classes/Workgroups, and the requested quantity of employees you select when you set up a Callout to be saved in a template called an Activation Template. You can then recall the template and run another callout from it at a later date. Manual Callouts cannot be saved as Activations.
Activations can be invoked from ARCOS either via the Callout module by someone who has access to the Web, by calling Inbound and providing ARCOS with an Activations Template ID to start the callout, or by logging into the ARCOS BlackBerry application. This flexibility gives supervisors in the field the ability to activate a callout even if they don't have Internet access.
