Some of the reports available to all companies and several of the custom reports use a shared generic report generator to assist in building the report. For most reports in the system, you can use the browser back button to navigate throughout the report pages.
ARCOS also saves your report selections while you are logged in and asks if you want to save your settings when you logout. ARCOS saves Location for all ARCOS reports using the generic selector; Class for the Availability by Company and Resource Availability reports; and Callout Type and Callout Reason filter changes for the Availability by Company report, when you logout.
The Date picker remembers your selection for each individual report (except the Resource Availability report) during the current session. The Date picker resets when you logout of ARCOS. This means that every time you come back to a report while you are still logged in, ARCOS remembers the dates you selected.
Note: Pressing the "S" key on your keyboard while on the report selector page will bring up the calendar picker to change the selected start date. Pressing the "E" key on your keyboard while on the report selector page will bring up the calendar picker to change the selected end date.
Note: The report setup screens also have a Reset button on them that allows you to reset your filters and dates to the defaults at any time, if you wish.
The generator uses standard Windows conventions for selecting items:
-
Click to select single items.
-
Ctrl + click to select multiple items not in a series.
-
Shift + click to select multiple items in a series.
Most custom reports use the Generic Report Generator, as do the Availability by Company report, the Longterm Callout report, and the Result Summary report.
Location Selector
Whenever you generate a report that does not include your current location, ARCOS displays the message, "Note: Current location (location name) is NOT selected." As long as you remain in the current session, if you select a different report that uses the Generic Report Generator, the message also displays to serve as a reminder that you are set up to run a report that does not include your current location.
When the location selector is set to your current location, whether automatically by ARCOS or by clicking the Reset button, ARCOS displays the message, "Note: Location Selector reset to current location: location name." on the report generator page. This applies to all reports that use the Generic Report Generator.
