Details
Crew Manager Restore functionality may be used as a way to:
- Restore Crews and Crew Members to their prior “normal” state after a major storm event
- Return Crews and Crew Members to a saved state on a daily basis (example: return to the “normal” 6 AM setup after a day/night of other activity)
- Function as an “Undo” button to repair mistakes
- Restore a pre-existing Storm Crew assignment
Solution
- The Restore function is at the top of the page in Crew Manager:
- The Restore function can be used to select a single crew, multiple crews, or even individual employees. The Restore function is then used in two different ways
Restore Data from a previous PIT
- Available if your PIT is set to “NOW/PIT”
- Restores data from a prior point in time
- For selected crews and their assigned members, work orders and vehicles.
- You are prompted for the PIT in the past
Restore data from PIT selected from timeline to now
- Available if your PIT is set to any time in the past
- Restores data from the selected PIT to the current “PITNOW”
- For selected crews and their assigned members, work orders and vehicles.
Note: The user must also be in a security group with the “Crew Mgr - Restore / Flashback Data” and “Crew Manager - Delete Crews” security enabled to use the Restore feature. This is due to the user performing the restore will change crews and may delete crews, both in the past and the present, and Crew Mgr - Restore / Flashback Data. If you do not see these as options to enable under your security group, please contact ARCOS Support.
Restore only restores the current perspective, not all perspectives in the schema.
