RAPD-14644 (ZD 63948/63949) Employee Transfer History in Company Admin - Application
Error
This resolves an error that was being shown when trying to display employee transfer history for large locations. Now the Company Administrator should be able to view employee transfer history correctly.
RAPD-14678 (ZD 63862) Shift Extensions from SUN-MON Remain Editable
This fixes an issue for companies using Time and Attendance (payroll). Previously, if there was a shift extension from a shift on the last day of the payroll period and it was entirely in the next day, it could be edited. For example, if a payroll ends on a Sunday and there is a shift that runs from 20:00-00:00 and an extension shift that runs on Monday from 00:00-02:00, both the original Sunday shift and the Monday extension shift should not be editable. With this change, both shifts will not be editable.
RAPD-15309 (ZD 66444) Temporary Transfer causing open shifts to pay as wrong code (CSW
instead of AST, eligible to convert to OT/DT)
This fixes an issue for companies using Time and Attendance (payroll). Previously, shifts were being classified incorrectly when they had been posted to shift management as a result of a temporary transfer. Now any such shifts will be classified as open time.
RAPD-15887 (ZD 70746) EVB - Domino Bid with Exchanges deleted first Award
This fixes an issue with Enhanced Vacation Bidding where awards were not being done correctly when the domino feature was enabled on the bid round. Employees lower in seniority were being awarded exchanged weeks despite there being higher seniority employees that had the exchanged week as a preference. With this fix, all employees should be awarded the correct weeks based on seniority when domino is enabled.
Testing Notes
RAPD-14644
Preconditions:
- Ensure there are a large number of locations (bug was only occurring for some customers)
Test Scenario:
- Login as Company Administrator
- Navigate to History -> Employee Transfer and confirm: All locations should load
- Click on a location and confirm: Employees who have transferred are displayed.
- No errors should occur during loading of locations or employees
RAPD-14678
Preconditions:
- Only applicable to customer using time & attendance (payroll)
- Employee without shifts
Test Scenario:
- Supervisor > Employee > Employee from preconditions.
- Click on any available day and select "Schedule shift" option.
- Enter mandatory fields and select a shift ending at the end of Sunday, for example from 17:00 - 00:00.
- Confirm: Shift created as expected.
- Click on the shift created in step 3 and select Edit option to create an extension that is completely on Monday.
- Confirm: Edit shift screen displayed.
- Change the "End time" to an hour after 00:00, for example .4:00 and click on Update button.
- Confirm: Calendar screen is displayed.
- Click on the shift created in the step 3 and in the extension created in step 5.
- Confirm: Notice that you can edit the shift and the extension.
- Payroll > Select the Payroll group, the Period (Date from the shift created in step 3) and click on "Process Payroll" button.
- Confirm:: Processing started message appears in status column.
- Wait until Payroll Status is "Complete".
- Supervisor > Employees > Employee from preconditions. Select the date from shift created in step 3 and try to Edit it.
- Confirm: The shift should not be editable.
- Select the day from extension created in step 5 and try to edit it.
- Confirm: The extension should not be editable since the payroll is locked for the shift to which the extension is associated.
RAPD-15309
Preconditions:
- Use a client with time and attendance enabled
- Use a test location that has a payrule set with a shift classification for open time
- Have an employee with some shifts created
Test Scenario:
- Login to Roster apps as a supervisor
Expected Result: supervisor home page should be displayed - Navigate to the employees tab, pick our first test employee, validate that it has a shift for todays day
Expected Result: Employee should have a shift assigned for today - Now switch the role to an location admin role
Expected Result: Employees tab should be displayed - Search for the employee we are going to use for testing, click on Edit
Expected Result: Edit employee page should be displayed - Click on Temporary transfer
Expected Result: Temporary transfer page should be displayed - For effective start and end date pick today's date
- Transfer the employee to a different location or work group
- Click on next until you get to Complete transfer -> Submit transfer
Expected Result: Employee should have been transfered to the selected location. - Now change role to the supervisor again, go to the employees tab -> look for the employee we just transferred
- Validate that the shift that was assigned originally to our test employee is no longer assigned to him
Expected Result: Employee should not have the original shift assigned to him on the transfer date - Now navigate to the shift management page
- Look for the shift from our test user (we can search by date or by employees name)
Expected Result: Shift from transferred employee should be on shift management page - Click on Assign
Expected Result: Assign shift page should be displayed - Assign to any available employee
Expected Result: Shift should be assigned to an employee - Go to the employees tab again, look for the employee we just assigned the shift
- Validate that shift is assigned to our employee
Expected Result: Shift should have been assigned to our employee - Now change the role to Time keeper, open the Time Card tab
- Search for the employee we assigned the shift
Expected Result: Shift should appear on the time card - Click on the shift -> and then on Payroll processsing info
- Validate that shift classification is: Open Time (Orange)
Expected Result: Shift classification should be Open Time (Orange)
RAPD-15887
Preconditions:
- Have an employee with an awarded preference in an existing round.
Test Scenario:
- Create a new bid round and enable exchanges.
Expected Result: Bid round should be created successfully. - Select an hours charged type. Start with 'No charge'.
Expected Result: Hours charged saved successfully. - Add the employee from the preconditions to be an active participant in this round.
- Login as the employee from the preconditions and navigate to the new EVB bid round.
- Select a preference and mark it as an exchange. Use the already awarded preference from the precondition as the award to be exchanged.
Expected Result: Preference with an exchange should be submitted successfully. - Log back in as a location admin and run awards for the newly created round.
Expected Result: Awards run successfully (assuming validation passes). An exchange icon should appear to the left of the awarded preference label (e.g., 'Preference 1'). - Download the process log and view the log file.
Expected Result: The exchange should be listed, indicating which dates were exchanged for which current preference. - Navigate to the publish awards page for the newly created bid round and find the employee.
Expected Result: Page loads successfully, and the same exchange icon appears next to the same preference. - Publish the employee's awards for the newly created bid round.
Expected Result: Awards publish successfully, and the exchange icon disappears from the preference label. - Navigate back to the run awards page for the bid round.
Expected Result: The exchange icon should be removed after publishing the award. - Download the process log again from the run awards page.
Expected Result: The exchange should still be present in the log; publishing should not affect it. - Repeat steps 1 through 11. In step 2, select a different hours charged type for each round until all types are tested.
Expected Result: All hours charged types should reflect exchanges in the process log.
RAPD-15772
Preconditions:
- A bid Package and bid round should be created in a location that has EVB feature enabled
Test Scenario:
- Login as a location administrator, go to the EVB tab, and click on the bid package from the preconditions.
Expected Result: Bid package should open - Click on the bid rounds, and click on the "Copy" button to copy the bid round from the preconditions:
Expected Result: Copy bid round page should open - All data on the copy bid round page should be the same as the existing bid round from step 2, EXCEPT:
-Effective starting date should be one week later
-Bid round name
-Bid round description. - Change the bid window dates so they don't overlap with the existing bid round dates
Click "Save" try to hit save multiple times - Validate that the save button is disabled so the user can’t accidentally click it again
Expected Result: Save button should be disabled, so user can't click it multiple times - Go back to the bid rounds page
- Validate that bid rounds doesn't appear as duplicated
Expected Result: Bid Rounds should not appear as duplicated
