Creation of tasks in the Task tab do not require worksites and will need to be authorized at a task level. Using the bulk ‘Authorized’ button can increase the efficiency when authorizing the tasks at this level.
Create a Task (Create Feature)
Creating a Task is very similar to creating other features in the application. In the assessment mode the Worksites, Task, and Info tabs all have specific features that can be added in the map with the + Add button.
-
Click the ‘Tasks’ tab
-
Click on +Add Task
-
Select the desired task type from drop down

Work Area: Areas are used to document tasks like mowing, brush, and herbicide that require a brouder task location. Areas require at least three points when drawing in the task.
Linear Work: Lines are used to plan work like work to spec and linear work that require a distance calculation. Linear Work lines require at a minimum of two points when drawing the task.
Note: For both Linear Work and Work Areas it is important to not create self intersecting lines.
Work Location: Location points are used to plan tasks like removals and trims that have a specific location of work.
-
