Attachments

Attachment Widget

When configured, it allows user to add, edit, delete and manage attachments for every single entry in the table.

Option	Description	Visualization
Formats	The user can add files in the following formats: PDF PNG JPG XLSX XLS
File Size	The file size can range from 0 bytes to 32 megabytes
Add An Attachment	To add new attachments, click the "Add New" button Select one or more files from the local computer An attachment will be available only within a single record Added attachments will be accessible in the Attachments tab through the Feature Table, Feature Attributes Panel widgets and in the Clearion X app
View Mode	Changing the layout and display options of files in an attachment widget: By default - files are displayed as large icons in a grid, with file names and file extension names. List view - all files in the attachments are displayed as a list, with file names and file extension names.	Default Attachments View Changed View
Additional Information	The user can view more information about attachment by clicking on it: Full name File size Buttons to navigate between the next and previous attachments To close additional information panel, press the "x" button
Preview	In preview mode, the attachment will display in full screen A preview is available for: PNG JPG Not available for: PDF XLSX XLS
Download Attachment	Click the "Download" button next to the file to download an attachment
Delete Attachment	Click the "Delete" button next to the file to remove an attachment Deleting a file will remove it from all attachment widgets associated with that record (Feature Table, Feature Attributes, and in Clearion X)

How to Add an Attachment Widget to a Feature Table

The attachment widget could be added to the Feature Table:

Open Studio	On the "Workspace List" page, double-click on a needed project from the list to open it
Open Feature Table	Click on the "Edit" button
Allow Attachments	Make sure that the "Allow Edit Attachments" action is enabled Click the "Save" button to apply changes to the record
Attachments Widget	Enable the "Widget Preview" Attachment widgets are displayed opposite the records	Widget Preview Attachments Widget

How to Add an Attachment Widget to a Feature Attribute

The attachment widget could be added to the Feature Attributes slider:

Option	Description	Visualization
Open Studio	On the "Workspace List" page, double-click on a needed project from the list to open it
Open The Sliders	Click the "Sliders" in the feature attributes panel
Add Attachments Widget	Click the "Add" button on the navigation panel Click the "Attachments" widget
Attachments Widget	Click the "Expand" button The attachment widget will appear in the list of existing sliders

An Attachment Widget can be hidden for roles

If there is a need to hide the widget for a specific role, this can be done in the widget settings.

Select the role and mark the checkbox.

In this case, users with the selected role will not see the widget on the web
