The Employee Performance Dashboard is a report is a high-level dashboard that allows administrators to track the number of committed employees from a department versus the number received based on the employees’ extended attributes. The Employee Performance Dashboard can be found on the reports tab after other reports.
The report is controlled by two security options “Performance Dashboard – View” and “Performance Dashboard – Edit.” Users must have edit and view access to be able to create and modify dashboards.
The dashboard above is for a storm event on 5/12 and shows different organizations within the company (going down the left hand side). The organizations listed were added based on extended attributes that are currently assigned to employees.
The next two columns (Indicator and Percent) are calculations based on the dashboard’s settings. Within the dashboard’s settings, there are three threshold limits that can be set based on the number of accepts versus the number committed. These levels are red, yellow and green. The Percent column is calculated by the total accepted by the department (row) divided by the total committed by the department (row).
For example, the Auditing department committed to 20 Damage Assessors and 10 Transporters for a total of 30 commits. Only four Damage Assessor and two Transporter positions were filled from the Auditing department, for a total of 6 accepts. To calculate the Auditing department’s commitments, we would divide 6 (number accepts) by 30 (number of commitments) to give us a percentage of 20%.
The Role section is the positions that require additional staffing during an event. These are not based on any attributes and are manually entered by the user creating/editing the dashboard.
The main section of the report allows executives and supervisors see how the staffing up is progressing.
