The Shift Coverage Report is similar to the 7 Day View on the Schedule tab. The Shift Coverage Report searches by Location and Classification and summarizes the total number of shift hours that are scheduled for a day and highlights days that do not meet the minimum daily requirements of shift work. Once the report is ran ARCOS displays a all employees within the selected locations and classes grouping employees with the same location and class in the same table. The user can use the arrows at the top of the table to change the date range forward or backward one week or one day.
Note: Only shift records appear on the Shift Coverage Report. If an employee is on vacation on a particular day, the employee's shift will not display on the report. Also, if an exception masks a part of a shift, then only the portion of the shift that is actually worked will be counted towards the total hours. For example if an employee works an 8 hour shift but the first 2 hours are masked by a rest record, then only 6 hours of work will be counted for an employee.
Note: If a shift crosses midnight, all hours that are associated with the shift will be applied to the shift's refer as date and will NOT be applied to both days the shift spans across.
