Once you have created a shift leveling bid, you must add bid items. Bid items are the open shifts that employees can bid on.
To add bid items to a shift leveling bid:
- Click the Shift Leveling tab.
- Find the shift leveling bid you want to add bid items to in the table of shift leveling bids. Click the View link at the far right of that shift leveling bid’s row.

Click the Select Bid Items link .

RosterApps directs you to a page that displays open shifts at your location.

You have a few different options to filter these shifts if needed. Below is a list of filtering options with descriptions.

Filter: Select in the drop-down menu whether to display all shifts or only selected shifts.

Show All (No filtering): Check this box to display all shifts without filtering.

Work Group: To only display shifts from a certain work group, select that work group in the drop-down menu.

Shift Range: To only display shifts from a certain date range, select the beginning date in the first date selector and the end date in the second date selector.

Shift Type: To only display a certain type of shift, select the shift type in the drop-down menu.

Click the Filter button if you selected any of the filtering options.

Select the shifts you want to add to the shift leveling bid as bid items. Check the box at the far right of a shift’s row to add it. You can also click the blue text link Select All directly above the table of shifts on the right-hand side to select all of the shifts.
- Click the Update Selections button at the bottom of the page to save your selections.
You can come back to this page and update your selections at any time before running the award process.
