The Create button allows you to create a callout by selecting roster(s) to be called, specifying callout type, entering number of employees needed, and work start and end times. The Create Callout page is divided into tables that provide different functions for preparing a callout. For a comprehensive explanation of each of the tables associated with creating a callout, follow the links below.
The first table, the Callout Definition table, allows you to define the callout. This includes selecting a callout type, entering a description, selecting work start and end times, choosing messages that will accompany the callout, selecting callout attributes, and applying any overrides desired. View Callout Definition table.
The second table, the Roster Picker table, allows you to select the roster or rosters to be included in the callout. This selection process can include rosters from your location or from other locations within your ARCOS system. You also select the number of employees you require for the callout from each roster in this table. View Roster Picker table.
The Roster Picker table also contains a button titled Loc Selector that allows you to select a different location from which to include rosters for the callout. View Loc Selector screen.
If your company uses Crews , you can change the Roster Picker table to a Crew Picker table by clicking the Crew Request button. View Crew Picker table.
Crew
A crew is a two or more classifications connected for the purpose of a callout. An example of a crew would be the Emergency Crew shown here, which consists of 1 Lineman and 1 Senior Lineman. So, if a user selects 1 crew, then two people will be requested. Companies who use Crews can establish the Crew with whatever mix of employees they require.
Note: If an empty list is part of a crew, the list will display in italics on the Crew Request Selector on the Callout Create page. When a crew is selected that contains an empty or inactive roster, the user will receive a pop-up, warning them of their selection.

The third table, the Sub-Callout table, displays once you are finished with the roster selection process. It contains a summary of the sub-callouts to be executed in the callout. You can change the number of employees requested, the number of attempts, and also deselect list chaining from this table. View Sub-Callout table.
The fourth table, the Manual Bypass table, lists the employees in each selected roster with their availability. From this table, you can deselect employees you do not want included in the callout, apply individual overrides to employees on schedule exceptions or working status that you wish to call, and manually accept or decline the callout for employees. View Manual Bypass table.
