As a supervisor, you may want to add comments to a specific shift, either for yourself, for the employee, or both.
To add a comment to a shift:
- Click the Employees tab.
- Find the employee’s name in the list of employees to the left of the calendar. Click on their name to open their employee calendar.
- Find the shift you want to add comments to on their calendar. Click on the shift to open the shift menu.
- Click 'Add Comment’ in the shift menu.
- RosterApps directs you to the New Comment on Shift page.

Complete the sections of this page with information about the new comment. Below is a list of the sections with descriptions.
- Employee Viewable: Select this checkbox if you want to the employee to be able to view the comment
- Pertains to this Employee Only: Select this checkbox if the comment you are adding is directly related to the employee who owns the shift.
- Add New Shift History: Select this checkbox to include the comment in shift history.
- Comment to add to shift: Enter the new comment
- Click the Create Comment to finish and save the new comment.
