You can mark employees as left early for both past and future shifts. However, there are certain situations where you might be unable to mark employees left early for past shifts:
- Earliest Shift Edit Date: The Location Admin may set an Earliest Shift Edit Date, which restricts supervisors from making any changes to shifts before this date.
- Time & Attendance: For customers using the Time & Attendance feature, once a payroll has been processed, all shifts within that payroll period are frozen and cannot be modified by supervisors.
To mark an employee as left early:
- Click the Employees tab.
- Find the employee’s name in the list of employees to the left of the calendar. Click on their name to open their employee calendar.
- Find the shift you want to mark as left early on their calendar. Click on the shift to open the shift menu.
- Click ‘Mark as Left Early’ in the shift menu.
- RosterApps directs you to the Mark as Left Early page.
