You can mark employees as late for both past and future shifts. However, there are certain situations where you might be unable to mark employees late for past shifts:
- Earliest Shift Edit Date: The Location Admin may set an Earliest Shift Edit Date, which restricts supervisors from making any changes to shifts before this date.
- Time & Attendance: For customers using the Time & Attendance feature, once a payroll has been processed, all shifts within that payroll period are frozen and cannot be modified by supervisors.
To mark an employee late:
- Click the Employees tab.
- Find the employee’s name in the list of employees to the left of the calendar. Click on their name to open their employee calendar.
- Find the shift you want to mark late on their calendar. Click on the shift to open the shift menu.
- Click ‘Mark as Late’ in the shift menu.
- RosterApps directs you to the Mark Late page.
