The Calendar Notifications screen enables the location administrator to set up alerts that will display on the calendar on specific days. These alerts can be configured to appear on the employee calendar, the supervisor calendar, and/or the schedule viewer calendar.
To create a new calendar notification:
- Click the Settings tab
- Click the Calendar Notifications link
- RosterApps presents the Edit Notifications page:
- Click the Add Notification button. A dialog appears:
- Fill in the fields as described below:
- Header: Enter a value for the header which will be displayed
- Body: Enter a value for the body of the notification
- Date: Select a date from the calendar picker. This is the date on which the notification will display.
- Work Groups: Select one or more work groups from the list. The notifications will be shown to all employees in the selected work groups.
- Show On Employee Calendar: Click this checkbox to have the notification display on the employee calendar
- Show On Supervisor Calendar: Click this checkbox to have the notification display on the supervisor calendar
- Show On Schedule Viewer Calendar: Click this checkbox to have the notification display on the schedule viewer calendar
- Click the Add button to save the notification or the Cancel button to exit without creating the notification.
Once the notification is created, it will appear on the calendar as follows:
To edit a calendar notification:
- Click the Settings tab
- Click the Calendar Notifications link
- RosterApps presents the Edit Notifications page:
- Find the notification in the list that you would like to edit and click the pencil icon in the corresponding row. The Edit Calendar Notification dialog appears:
- Make any desired changes. Click the Edit button to save the changes or the Cancel button to discard any changes and not save.
