The Calendar Settings page enables the location administrator to customize various elements of the employee calendar’s appearance.
To update the calendar settings:
- Click the Settings tab
- Click the Calendar Settings link
- RosterApps presents the Edit Calendar Settings page:
- Update the settings as desired. A description of each of the settings follows:
- Display Off Days on Calendar: Click this checkbox to display a red X on the calendar when an employee has a scheduled off day (per their assigned bid line).
- Show Awarded PTO Labels on calendar (EVB): When using Enhanced Vacation Bidding, clicking this checkbox will put a label on the employee calendar for vacation days/weeks they've been awarded.
- Use Template Info Instead Of Shift Info: Click this checkbox to show shift template info (including the name) instead of the shift info on the employee calendar. This is helpful in the case where employees are very familiar with the shift templates.
- Display Open Shift Sign-Ups On Employee Calendar: Click this checkbox to display open shifts that an employee has signed up for on their calendar.
- Display Open Shift Sign-Ups On Supervisor Calendar: Click this checkbox to display open shifts that an employee has signed up for on the supervisor's calendar.
- Show Qualification Info Under Calendar: Click this checkbox to show employee qualifications under the calendar (this setting pertains to both the employee and supervisor calendar.
- Allow Editing Shifts Before First Payroll: Click this checkbox to allow shifts to be edited before the first payroll is run (only pertains to customers using Time & Attendance).
- After updating the settings, click the Update button to save any changes or click the Cancel button to discard any changes you made.
