Shorten Bid Package End Date

It is possible to change the end date of a bid package to a date earlier than the one originally designated.  This allows for shifts to automatically be removed from an employee's calendars for the dates back to the date it is being shortened to.

To shorten a bid package:

• Click the Bid Packages tab.
• Find the bid package you want to shorten in the table of bid packages and click the Edit link in that bid package’s row.
• Click the Extend Bid Package End Date link this Bid Package.
  
• RosterApps directs you to the Edit Effective End Date page:
  
• Select a new effective end date and click the Update button to continue (or the Cancel button to cancel.)
• After clicking the Update button, the bid package is shortened, resulting in shifts being removed from employee calendars.
