Use this function to change an employee's status. You can give an employee an active status or an inactive status. The only two active statuses available are Active FT and Active PT, and there are a variety of inactive statuses for different situations.
The statuses available in RosterApps are:
- AF - Active FT: Active, full-time employees.
- AP - Active PT: Active, part-time employees.
- LO - LOA / OJI / FMLA: Employees on a Leave of Absence, or On the Job Injury, or Family and Medical Leave Act. Not an active status.
- MD - Medical: Employees on personal Medical leave. Not an active status.
- TM - Terminated: Employees that have been terminated, or fired, and are no longer with the company. Not an active status. Please note: do not use this selection as a means of terminating an employee. It is critical that termination is done with the Terminate function, and not a simple change of status. For information about how to terminate an employee, see the Terminate section of the online help.
- VR - Voluntary Resignation: Employees that have voluntarily resigned and are no longer with the company. Not an active status. Please note: do not use this selection as a means of establishing a Voluntary Resignation. That should be done with the Terminate function. For more information about how to terminate an employee, see the Terminate section of the online help.
- SP - Suspended: Employees that have been suspended. Not an active status.
- LD - Light Duty: Employees that have work modifications due to injury or other complication. Not an active status.
- ML - Military Leave: Employees that are gone on military leave. Not an active status.
- TR - Transferred: Employees that have been transferred to another part of the company which doesn't use RosterApps. Not an active status.
- VT - Variable: Employees who don't have consistent work schedules. Not an active status
