Default Break Settings

The default break settings define specific attributes about how automatic breaks are added to shifts in RosterApps.

Updating Default Break Settings

To update the default break settings:

• Click on the Settings tab.
• Click the blue text link Edit Default Break Settings
• RosterApps directs you to the Edit Default Break Settings page:
• Update the settings on this page to reflect the settings you would wish to apply for default breaks within your company.  Below is a description of each of the settings:
  • Add Break To Shift After X Hours (0=ignore):Enter a numeric value (in hours) for how long a shift should be before a break is added.
  • Break Length (Hours):Enter a numeric values (in hours) for how long the default break should be.
• Click the blue Update button to save any changes made to the settings. Click the Cancel button to discard any changes.
