Resource Assist fully automates the resource request & response workflow between Requesters and Responding Partners. What is otherwise a cumbersome, non-documented and manual calling process is converted into an easy to manage process that provides transparency, awareness and faster response. Requesters connect with Responding Partners with a simple “connection request” and Resource Assist makes it easy to generate resource requests for simultaneous Responding Partner response, ultimately resulting in committed Responding Partner assistance for direct use in the Requesters ARCOS platform. The functions associated with the RA Lite tab: • Incoming Requests - Displays a summary of received requests.
1 Events / Requests
This tab displays all Events currently in progress, and any Resource Requests associated with those Events. It is here that the user can create new Events, add new Resource Requests, and release resources previously attained through a request.
Resource Assist automatically keeps dashboard information on this view up to date including: Resources Allocated by Event, status of all associated requests and a weekly summary of on-site resources.
2 Responding Partners
Resource Assist requests begin with the concept of a connection. Generally, a connection is sent from a Requester, to a Responding Partner to accept. Once the connection is accepted, requests for resources can be sent to the connected Responding Partner.
The Responding Partner tab displays all connected Responding Partners and is used to establish and maintain Responding Partner connections. It displays the connections established or those with requests for a connection and maintains related information about the Responding Partner.
Additionally, new Responding Partner requests to connect and the creation of Responding Partner Groups are maintained on the Responding Partner tab.
3 Administration
This tab allows the user to perform all the needed administrative duties such as the creation of request templates or new employees and allow permissions .
