UG Lineman Sign-Up

The UG Lineman Sign-Up page allows authorized web users to put employees classified as Lineman and Network Lineman on the Underground Lineman primary class rosters into either Preferred or Non-Preferred status for specified roster dates. The dates are determined by the resequence options that are set that are set in Roster List Admin. Web users also have the option to remove employees from the list for select roster dates. This page is similar in functionality as the Roster SignOn page.

The Underground Lineman Sign-Up page displays a list of all active employees in the current Level 4 location that are classified as Lineman or Network Lineman. The employees are sorted alphabetically within their Primary Class.

Primary Class

A Primary Class is an employee's job title or skill associated with a roster. An employee can have only one primary job classification; however, he can be on rosters for other job classifications as well as other workgroups. ARCOS automatically configures rosters for each defined Job Classification.

Each employee has the option to be set as Preferred or Non-Preferred or to be Removed from the list. The page displays the number of rosters established for that company in the NumRosters field on the Roster List Admin page, beginning with the current roster. Employees classified as Lineman or Network Lineman do not have the ability to call the Inbound system to change their status or remove themselves from the list. Only an authorized web user can make these changes through the sign-up page.

Note: The Underground Lineman Primary Class list must be enabled with a Preferred and Non-Preferred list status in order to use the UG Lineman Sign-Up page.
