The Number On-Call roster preference consist of two parts. The first part is a checkbox on the Roster List Administration page, call NumOnCall. This will enable the roster to support the On-Call functionality. The second part is a textbox towards the bottom of the List Maintenance page. This textbox will determine the number of employees on the roster who will be considered on-call.
Note: Employees who are considered on-call are at the top of the list.
Note: For some companies, the number of employees consider on-call is auto-calculated based on the first employee on the list's Duty Group. If the number of employees considered on-call is auto-calculated, the value on the List Maintenance page will be grayed out and unchangeable.
Example: NumOnCall value is set to 2. In the list below John Smith and Bob Johnson are on-call for the list.
