The Employee Delay roster preference is a textbox that allows the user to specify the number of minutes to delay between calling employees on the selected roster. In conjunction with the Employee Delay roster preference your company may also have the Num Emps for Delay field on Roster Maintenance page. This page allows users to determine the number of employees who will observe the delay.
Example: A roster has five employees on it and the Employee Delay is set to 10 minutes and the Number Employees for Delay is set to two. If a callout is created for this list requesting one employee, ARCOS will call Employee 1 then delay for 10 minutes, call Employee 2 delay for 10 minutes, then call Employees 3-5 without any delays.
Note: If the list is setup to use Vertical Calling, ARCOS will not delay until after all on an employee's active devices have been called.
Note: For most customers, the delay period starts after all of an employee's devices have been called. However, for some customers, the delay period begins at the start time of the first call to an employee.
