The a SuperClass is a workgroup containing all employees from multiple Primary Classes that are compiled on one list for callout purposes.
Primary Class
A Primary Class is an employee's job title or skill associated with a roster. An employee can have only one primary job classification; however, he can be on rosters for other job classifications as well as other workgroups. ARCOS automatically configures rosters for each defined Job Classification.
This kind of list could be useful when creating a list of Journeymen and Apprentices, if your company uses a J/A Rule. It could also be useful when creating a backup list of people to call if the originally called list does not fill all positions.
Note: Sort Preferences can be set per a class to keep Primary Classes separate. Employees will sort according to the sort preferences that are set on the List Admin page. If each Primary Class that is being added to the list needs to sort by a different method then use chaining to link the groups together.
