Every roster in the system has a set of preferences assigned to it that are controlled on the List Mnt>Roster List Ordering>Admin page. If there are multiple rosters in a chain, the admin link brings up an intermediate page that lets you choose the roster on which you wish to perform administrative duties.
The top section of the admin page shows the elements that make up a roster, the Location, Classification, List Status, and Class Type. The Class Type is for information only and is defined by the Classification. (Examples of class types include Primary, Workgroup, Storm Role.) The List Status allows you to further define lists. For example, you may have a regular list status of a class called Lineman and a back-up list status of a class called Lineman. If a callout remains unfilled once everyone with regular, preferred list status has been contacted, ARCOS would go to any employees in a back-up list status, such as non-preferred. (Some List Statuses are Regular, Relieving, Stand-by, Preferred, and Non-Preferred.) Preferred and non-preferred employees may be rotated on the lists, depending on company and union business rules.
The next section of the admin page contains preferences for the roster list. These options include report options, callout rules, sorting methods, resequence options, and OT Hours that are applied to the list.
