The Duty Roster feature allows users to build a roster with a on-call, backup and an off-call status. Once the roster is built, users can easily move employees to and from the three status.
To Chain Rosters to form a Duty Roster

Navigate to the location of the roster or where the roster will be created.

Click the Roster List Ordering button on the List Mnt tab. The Roster List Ordering page displays.

If the roster does not exist, Enable the Primary Class list that will be used - OR - Create a new Workgroup and return to the Roster List Ordering page.
Primary Class
A Primary Class is an employee's job title or skill associated with a roster. An employee can have only one primary job classification; however, he can be on rosters for other job classifications as well as other workgroups. ARCOS automatically configures rosters for each defined Job Classification.

Click the chain link next to the list that needs be setup. The Roster List Edit Chain page displays.

Click the edit link next to the first list in the chain. The fields will become editable.

Select On-Call from the List Status dropdown.
Note: Your company may have a different name for this status like SEA - Primary, SEA - Backup and SEA - Off.

Click the Submit button.

Click the Add Sequence button. A second sequence displays under the On-Call sequence.

Select Backup from the List Status dropdown.
Note: If you plan to use the chain delay or chain delay pop-up for the transition into the backup list you can select those options now.

Click the Submit button.

Click the Add Sequence button. A third sequence displays under the Backup sequence.

Select Off-Call from the List Status dropdown.
Note: If you plan to use the chain delay or chain delay pop-up for the transition into the backup list you can select those options now.

Click the Submit button.

Click the Roster List Ordering button on the List Mnt tab. The Roster List Ordering page displays.

Click the admin link next to the list you are configuring. The Roster List Admin page displays all three sequences.

Click on the On-Call sequence.

Set any Callout Options for the list that are needed.

Set the Resequence Options for the list. This specifies the day of the week and time the employees will change their on-call status.
Note: The Resequence Options will need to be the same for all three sequences. All other options may be different.

Click the Save Changes button.

Click the Back button.

Repeat steps 16-20, selecting the backup and off-call sequences in step 15. When you are done, all three sequences should have the exact same Resequence Options.

Click the Roster List Ordering button on the List Mnt tab. The Roster List Ordering page displays.

Click the maint link for the list. The Roster List Maintenance page displays.

Click on the Off-Call sequence. The Roster List Maintenance page for the Off-Call sequence displays.

Click the Add Employees button. The list of employees in the current location display.

Check the Add? checkbox to the right of all employees you want to be available for the on the list.

Click the Save button.
