Crew Manager customers who also use Workbench have the option to send an automatic email to Imported users access to Mobile Workbench. This email includes instructions, links, and the credentials needed to login and start managing the assigned jobs within to the app.
Prior to the automatic email being sent, Administrators will need to enable the "Send Mobile Workbench credential email for first time user?" feature in the User Login Administration page in the Sys Admin module. For more info, go here.
Automated Email Generation
For automatic email generation, prior to importing the roster, the user must check the Mobile Workbench Access option available in the Crew Mgt Data Import page in the Data Import tab.
Once access is enabled, upload the .csv file including a valid email address for the imported user to receive the email. Invalid email addresses and phone numbers will be rejected.
Once the file is uploaded, the email and phone attributes are included in the Field Mapping section.
Denoted imported members will be assigned a default Web ID needed to login to Mobile Workbench.
Once imported, ARCOS automatically sends an email to the those resources which includes instructions, links to download the Mobile Workbench app, and the credentials needed to login.
Manually Send Email Invitation
Users can manually send the email invite if the automatic User Login Admin option is not enabled or just to send an additional email to imported users. While in Crew Manager, select the members in the perspective that need to receive the invite and click the Email icon in the Callout section. Selected members will receive the same email as displayed above.
