The Location module allows you to navigate between business units within your company. ARCOS uses a four-tiered location hierarchy , which is used to place employees in logical groups for assigning them to rosters and managing callouts easily. The Location module also has a search function that allows you to search for locations.
Generally speaking, Level 1 is the parent company, Level 2 contains regional offices, Level 3 is the division or district offices, and Level 4 is the operating office. These level field labels are customizable and can be tailored for each customer. Typically, the Level 4 location is an area where employees are grouped by either geographical location or business function. Each Level 4 location has employees assigned to that location.
