This feature allows users to enter time stamped items related to the incident, outside of the scope of what ARCOS tracks. The ability to log other incident related data and types helps in keeping accurate time records for reporting and oversight of incident response.
To post an Entry, clicking the link in the center of the top menu opens the Add Manual Log Entry window.
The window opens with the chosen Response Group selected. To change, clicking the Incident Selector button, displays a dropdown window.
The Events can be expanded by clicking the + icon to display their Incidents. Click the radio button to select.
Select the Action and Item from the dropdown menus. The free form Comments area allows for details to be added. The options within these menus can be configured by going to the Administration sub-tab in Incident Manager and clicking the Log Entry Categories link. For more info, go here.
Click the Save button to add the entry.
To view the Log, click the Reports button on the Incidents page.
From the History window, the user has the ability to export or print the report.
You can see the manual entry is listed here with the date and time which it was created.
