Associating an Audio Player to the .vox Format

Associating the .vox format to a specific audio player makes it easy to open and listen to a call recording. The process has to be done only once to set the PC to launch the desired player each time. Follow the instructions below to make the association.

1. Display an Individual Call Detail Report using one of the following procedures:

   • Inbound Digit Collection

   • Outbound Digit Collection via the Report tab

   • Outbound Digit Collection via the View Open Callouts screen

2. Click the Click Here link in the Recording field. The File Download window displays.

3. Click Save.

4. Open Windows Explorer.

5. Navigate to the saved .vox file.

6. Right-click the file name.

7. Select Open With.

8. Select the audio player application.

   • Click Choose Program, if the application is not listed in the pop-up window.

   • Click Browse and select the player's executable file, if the application is still not listed.

9. Select Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.

10. Click OK.
