As discussed in the Inbound VRU System, employees have the option to call ARCOS to change their availability status. Most companies have procedures to follow which would apply before any instructions found here. These instructions are generic in nature and assume that your company allows you to use the Inbound system to change your availability. Your company Inbound system selections may vary slightly from this procedure.
Some companies have a feature that allows their employees to make themselves unavailable for vacation by calling Inbound ARCOS. The topic, Inbound Vacation Set Ability, contains more information about this feature. Also, some companies allow employees to put themselves on Rest status. See Placing Yourself on Rest Status for more information on this feature.

Call the ARCOS Inbound VRU System.

Enter your Company Code, if required.

Enter your Employee ID.

Enter your PIN. ARCOS provides you with information regarding your current availability status and your callout percentage, if applicable.

Press 1 on your touch tone phone and follow the prompts to change your availability status. (If you are currently available, pressing 1 makes you unavailable and if you are currently unavailable, pressing 1 makes you available.) Once you are finished, ARCOS again provides your current availability status.

Hang up to disconnect, or wait and you will be returned to the main menu.
