When e-mails are sent out to employee devices for Callouts and Notifications, whether the employee receives a full message or a condensed message is determined by a checkbox labeled "Condensed" on the Employee Modify screen. The template used also correlates with whether the e-mail is part of a callout or part of a notification and different templates can be created and assigned to different callout types as well. The list of callout and notification types is dynamically populated, based on the callout and notification types that exist for the company. This information is maintained on the E-mail/ Alerts page.
By default, employees are assigned to receive Full Template e-mails.
If the employee needs to receive a Condensed/SMS Template e-mail (the employee has a TXT MSG device that can only receive limited text), you can make that assignment from the Employee Modify page.
To Specify an Employee Receives Condensed E-mails

Click the Modify button on the Employee tab. The Employee Modify page displays.

Select the employee to modify from the list. The Employee Administration - Modify page displays.

Scroll down to the E-mail Devices table.

Enter the appropriate e-mail address in the E-mail field. Click here to see some e-mail text device e-mail addresses.

Check the Enable* checkbox. This enables the e-mail functionality for the selected e-mail address for the employee.

Check the Condensed checkbox. The table should look like this.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Data.
