This feature, found in the Sys Admin module, is not used by all companies within ARCOS. Vehicle Maintenance allows you to keep a list of company vehicle information up-to-date. The table found on the Vehicle Maintenance screen displays information about each vehicle, including a vehicle description, type, the permanent location for the vehicle, the status of the vehicle and the names of the employees who are assigned to the vehicle. You can search the list by location or by active or inactive vehicles by clicking the Refresh button, create new vehicles by clicking the Create New Vehicle button, or also edit information about a vehicle by clicking the edit button. Clicking the Sort Vehicles button does an alpha-numeric sort of the listed vehicles. The resulting sort order will be reflected in the various places in ARCOS where a dropdown selection occurs for selecting a vehicle ID. Currently, this includes the Schedule Record Modify and the Employee Modify pages.
The information on the Vehicle Maintenance page is used to support the Vehicle Crew Tracking Report.
Note: For some customers, the list of available Permanent Locations is restricted by the user's location access group.
