This feature is not used by all companies. This page allows you to create user-defined Activities and Schedule Exceptions as well as to maintain, delete, and configure them. The following table illustrates the differences between Activities and Schedule Exceptions in ARCOS.
Activities |
|
1. |
Indicate an informational schedule record, not a status. |
2. |
Employees will be considered available for callout even if they are assigned an Activity (versus another working Exception). |
3. |
Activities do not have an associated voice file recording. An assigned Activity will not be spoken to employees calling inbound to check their availability, because Activities do not indicate an employee status. |
4. |
Activity types will be communicated to Logica ARM regardless of the presence of a designated Holiday in ARCOS. |
5. |
Activities may not be excused like Exceptions; Activities are ignored during callouts. |
