Recovering Password using Forgot Password Link

If a user has an e-mail address enabled on their ARCOS user account and has logged into the system before, they can use the Forgot Password? link, on the login page, to change their password and login to the system.

To Login Using the Forgot Password Link

1. Navigate to the login page.

2. Click the Forgot password? link, below the Login button. The Password Reset page displays.

3. Type your web ID in the User Login textbox.

4. Type your e-mail address in the E-mail Address textbox. This must be the e-mail address associated with your account in ARCOS.

5. Click the Submit button to request a password reset link. ARCOS will send an e-mail to the entered e-mail address.

6. Open the e-mail sent by ARCOS. The e-mail will be similar to the message below.

7. Click the link within the e-mail. The Account Landing page loads in your browser.

Note: The link will only be valid for a short time (configured on the User Login Admin page).

8. Type the answer to the secret question in the Answer textbox.

   Note: The Secret Question field will only be available if secret questions are required by the company.

9. Type your new password in the New Password textbox.

10. Re-type your password in the Confirm Password textbox.

11. Click the Submit button.

12. Return to the login page and proceed to login using the newly created password.
