Initiating a Callout from the Message Detail Screen

Once a Custom Message has been created, a callout can be initiated directly from the Message Detail screen. The Custom Message is automatically selected on the initial callout screen when you launch the callout from the Message Detail screen.

To Initiate a Callout from the Message Detail Screen

1. Click the Custom Msgs button on the Callout or SIREN tab. The Message Admin screen displays.

   

2. Select Custom Message from the dropdown menu. The list of available custom messages displays.

3. Follow steps 4 through 12 in Recording a New Custom Message, if you wish to create a new custom message to include in your callout, -OR-

Click the Edit link on the Message Admin screen to select the existing Custom Message to include in your callout.

4. Click the Create Callout or the Create Notification button on the Message Detail screen to launch the callout or notification.

5. Follow instructions in Creating a New Callout or in Creating a New Notification in SIREN to complete the set up.
