You may create an Activation template from a callout that has been submitted/run but not closed or you may create an Activation template from a callout that has not been run. All of the callout parameters, Classes/Workgroups and required quantities that were selected on the Create Callout screen are saved as an Activation Template. Once the Activation has been saved, the actual template cannot be run (the Initiate button on the Create Callout or SIREN screen is grayed out), but it can be used to create a new callout that can be run.
Create Activation Template from a New Callout

Create a callout, using the instructions in Creating a New Callout. The View Open Callouts screen displays.

Click the Callout ID link for the callout from which you wish to create an Activation Template. The Callout Edit Page displays.

Click Save as Activation. The ID and Description dialog displays.

Enter an ID number and a description for the Activation in the dialog box.

Click OK. ARCOS displays a message, reminding you a new callout was created for this activation.

Click OK to close the message. The screen refreshes and displays the new callout.
The Initiate Callout/Notification button is grayed out because you cannot run an Activation Template. To run a callout with the same parameters, click the New Activation button to go to the Activation Templates Admin and click the Activate link for the Activation Template for this callout.
Create Activation Template from a Running Callout

Follow the steps in Creating a New Callout through entering Manual Bypass results.

Click Save as Activation at the bottom of the Callout Definition table. The ID and Description dialog displays.

Enter an ID number and a description for the Activation in the dialog box.

Click OK. The Callout screen refreshes.

Close the callout.
