Safety Messages

Safety Messages are a custom feature, so not all companies have them. Safety Messages are used as a second custom message and are attached to callouts as a safety reminder.

Note: Before a Safety Message can be added to a callout one must be created via Wave-to-Web as described below or by calling the Inbound VRU System.

Create a Safety Message via Wave-to-Web

1. Click the Custom Msgs button on the Callout tab.

2. Select Safety Message from the dropdown.

3. Click the Record New Message button to create a new message. - OR -

Click the 'edit link' next to the message you want to edit.

4. Click in the Description textbox and type a description. The Message Detail page will appear.

   

5. Assign an Order value to the message. This will be the order the message appears in the list.

Note: If Order is set to 0 the Safety Message will not be available on the Create Callout page.

6. Set the Interval. The Interval is the time between rotations of the messages.

Note: Once the Interval is changed on one message it will be changed on all Safety Messages.

7. Click the Record button and speak the message into your machine's microphone.

8. Click the Stop button to stop recording.

9. Click the Upload button.

Note: When it is time to rotate from the current Safety Message to the next message, the Order value will be 10 higher than the highest valued message.
