If a dispatcher knows an employee has accepted, declined or is otherwise unavailable (excluding existing schedule exceptions) before the callout has been initiated, the response can be entered manually on the Manual Bypass Results screen.
Callout
The process of requesting employees to work during their off hours or for non-shift work, usually contacted by phone and/or pagers.
If a dispatcher enters a response for an employee in this way, ARCOS will not call the employee during that callout. Any response entered into the Manual Bypass Results screen affects that callout only.
These instructions assume you have already started to set up a callout and have reached the point where you want to manually respond for some of the employees before you initiate the callout. For detailed instructions on setting up the callout to this point, see Creating a New Callout.
-
Click to select the Accept or Decline checkbox for employees, as applicable, on the Manual Bypass Section screen, -OR-
Enter a manual response in the Response field.
-
Enter a reason in the Reason/Comment field for all employees for whom you entered a manual response, if your company requires a Reason/Comment to be entered.
-
Click Initiate Callout to continue the callout.
