When employees are finished working a callout , they must be released.
Callout
The process of requesting employees to work during their off hours or for non-shift work, usually contacted by phone and/or pagers.
The dispatcher or other ARCOS user can release employees from a callout through the Employee Working screen. From this screen, you can locate an employee using several different filters and search options. You can search by start time and date, by date range, or you can filter by shift, callout, holdover, or exceptions. You can also see employees who are currently working a shift, callout, holdover, or are on exception.
Note: For some customers, the locations selected on the View Open Callouts page carry over to the location filter on the Employee Working page.

Note: When someone is released, at a specified time or as of NOW, ARCOS first checks to make sure that the schedule record is really in effect at that time. If it is, ARCOS releases the employee. However, if the schedule record was not in effect at that time or if another operator has already released the employee, the text is changed to red and an explanation error displays, stating that the employee may have already been released.
The Auto-Release feature varies by company and automatically releases employees from holdover or callout after a company-specified number of hours. Most companies auto-release employees at the start of a shift.
