In order to place an employee on holdover from the Working screen, the employee must be currently working a shift. For an alternate way to place an employee on Holdover, see Modifying a Schedule Record.
Holdover
Holdover, also know as Continuous Day, Extension of Shift, or Extended Day, is defined as the time that an employee is working beyond the end of their shift. In the event an employee is held over past their normal shift, an authorized user must update ARCOS with this information so that the employee is not called at home (since they are still at work).
Note: Some companies do not allow employees to be placed on Holdover from the Working screen but use a special callout type instead for holdovers. In the case of these companies, there is no Holdover column on the Working screen.
Note: For some customers, the locations selected on the View Open Callouts page carry over to the location filter on the Employee Working page.
