The View Open Callouts Screen allows you to monitor the status of open callouts, provides the ability to view callout progress history and to stop, close, and transfer the callout. It also contains links to other functions such as resubmit, rollover, or override the callout.
The Working Screen allows you to view employees who are currently working shifts, callouts , and holdovers. It can also show employees who are on exception, depending upon your company settings. You can filter by location, or by date and time. You can also release an employee from a callout or from a holdover, or place an employee on holdover from this screen.
Shift
A collection of working times over a span of seven days.
Callout
The process of requesting employees to work during their off hours or for non-shift work, usually contacted by phone and/or pagers.
Holdover
Holdover, also know as Continuous Day, Extension of Shift, or Extended Day, is defined as the time that an employee is working beyond the end of their shift. In the event an employee is held over past their normal shift, an authorized user must update ARCOS with this information so that the employee is not called at home (since they are still at work).
Correcting call responses and viewing call progress history are also important functions associated with administering callouts.
