When you create a report, one of the options is to save that setup for that report so that you or other employees who have access to the report can run it again at a later time and/or date. The page provides a list of saved reports for the current location and includes the Report ID, Description, Title, whether or not the report is Public, Owner, and Actions (edit, selector, run) that you can perform.
Associated with this functionality are new security features that allow access to creating Saved Reports and access to creating Saved Reports that can be made public. Creating public reports grants any users with "Saved Reports" access to those reports, even if the user would normally not have access to it. Location Access is, however, enforced.
The actions you can perform on a selected report are:
-
Overwrite: Displays when you wish to save a report that has already been saved.
-
Edit: Displays the Report Data to Edit screen, allowing you to change the parameters of the report.
-
Selector: Displays the setup screen for the selected report.
-
Run: Runs the selected report.
-
Schedule: Displays the information for the selected Report you wish to schedule a runtime for.
-
Send: Runs and sends the selected report to the recipients.
